Hello Spring!!

This has to be the Sunshine Coast locals favourite time of year and what better way to spend these beautiful warm Spring days than lazing by the pool! With Elysee almost ready for handover, our owners will be able to spend as much time as they like relaxing by the rooftop pool. 

Pinnacle at Picnic Point is almost out of the ground and progressing well. The lower basement slab was poured earlier this month and preparation continues for the next stage to take place. 

In addition to the development projects, I have been working on a new business with my partner Leisa. ‘Backlane Tapas and Wine Bar’ Mooloolaba opens in October and we are both very excited to welcome locals and tourists alike to our new venue. You can read more in 'other news' below.

Elysee Alexandra Headland


We’re all very excited that Elysee is nearing completion. The balustrading and landscaping have now been finalised along with the tiling to the entirety of the complex.

Carpets are ready to be installed this week and accessories to the apartments including towel hooks, hand rails, shower screens, splashbacks are almost finished.

Inspections have been done with final touch ups to the paint to be carried out and signage to be erected.

The gym is almost at the ready, with only the setup of the equipment remaining. All in all we are on track and at our ‘tidy up’ stage ready for the full unveil of Elysee!

We are right on schedule with the works at Pinnacle.

The lower basement slab was poured earlier this month along with installation of the steelfixers and drainage. 

Walls throughout the lower basement are being erected which will form the basement 1 deck ready for preparation of the slab pour in early October.

Backlane Tapas & Wine Bar is Mooloolaba’s newest casual dining destination. Scheduled to open in mid-October, we will be offering an eclectic fusion menu which will take you on a sensory journey. Our chef, Nathan Rumble, will be sourcing local, fresh, seasonal produce (where possible) and has designed a delicious selection of creative dishes to excite every palate.

Located one street away from Mooloolaba Beach, it’s the perfect place to swing by for a drink, a share-plate, or settle-in for the evening. You can even banish those late night cravings with a delicious selection of tasty supper options, available until late. So long as our lights are on – Backlane’s kitchen will be open!
